About the winery
Adega do Moucho is a small colleiteiro winery in Ribadavia, in the D.O. Ribeiro, founded in 2000 and owned by Francisco García Pérez. It makes, in very small quantities and by artisanal methods, a single white wine bearing the winery's name, based on Treixadura and completed with other native Ribeiro varieties. This wine has earned notable recognition: the Guía ABC 2014 chose the 2011 vintage as the best white wine in Spain in its selection, with 96 points, and the 2017 vintage won a gold medal at the 2020 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Its Treixadura is also sold outside Spain through specialist importers.
