About the winery

Adega Eidos is a family winery in Sanxenxo, at the southern tip of the Val do Salnés, within the D.O. Rías Baixas. It started as a business in 2000, having made Albariño since 1993, and opened its current premises in 2003. It sits on the Padriñán hillside, dotted with small old vineyards, overlooking Sanxenxo and the mouth of the Pontevedra estuary. It makes only single-varietal Albariño: Eidos de Padriñán, Veigas de Padriñán, Contraaparede and Eidos Barrica, plus orujo and herb, cream and coffee liqueurs. The building was also designed to welcome visitors, who tour the winery, the vineyard and the winemaking process, with a guided tasting and the option of a food pairing.
