About the winery
Adega Trasdovento was founded by Jesús Varela, a specialist wine distributor, and Antonio Diz, an experienced grape grower who grew up between the family winery and vineyards in the Monterrei area. Two wine lovers whose paths crossed at the start of the new century and who joined forces to create a project in which to apply their working philosophy: traditional and natural care of the raw material, from the vineyard to the winery, to achieve a unique and distinctive wine. Two professional careers and one passion: good wine.
