Adega Valdés

◍ A Coruña

About the winery

Adega Valdés is a family winery in Vedra, on the banks of the river Ulla, in the Ribeira do Ulla subzone of the D.O. Rías Baixas. The Valdés family has grown vines for more than three decades and founded the winery in 2001, when the appellation was extended to this area. Everything it makes comes from its own vineyards, where Albariño leads, as the basis of its first brand, Gundián, alongside a good area of Treixadura used for blended wines. Its labels include Gundián, Mayor de Gundián, Pazo Viladomar, Señorío de Rozadela and Xiradella, as well as an Albariño sparkling wine, Gundián Brut. It is a house that combines family tradition with modern winemaking.
