Adegas Valmiñor is in O Rosal, the southernmost subzone of the D.O. Rías Baixas, where the Miño meets the Atlantic opposite Portugal. It was founded in 1997 by the Galician Carlos Gómez Davila, who still runs it, and it is paired with Ébano Viñedos y Bodegas. It works with the local varieties, Albariño, Treixadura, Loureiro, Castañal and Caíño, and besides its wines it makes Entroido, an aromatised vermouth-style wine. Its wine tourism is varied: a classic winery visit with a tasting of two Rías Baixas wines and a local appetiser, a fuller one with wines from the group's wineries in Rías Baixas, Monterrei and Ribera del Duero, a ride in a 1988 Land Rover Santana up to a viewpoint over the valley, and an option that combines the winery with a trip on a historic boat along the Miño from Tui.
