Artisan Xeranthia Wines is a winery in Jerez de la Frontera, located on Camino Cruz del Canto, within the D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. It was founded in 2017 by oenologist Antonio José Bustillo Pérez, who holds a doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cádiz and received the Golden Nose award from the Andalusian Association of Oenologists in 2006. The project grew out of his family's tradition, as they have grown vines since the late 19th century on the Nuestra Señora de Palomares estate, in the Añina pago. In 2024 the winery had some 140 casks of its own and another 2,100 seasoned casks, around half a million litres, and was preparing its first commercial release, a vermouth. Its name combines Xera, the ancient Phoenician name for Jerez, and Antheia, the Greek goddess of vegetation, as a tribute to the women of the family.
