About the winery
A family-run winery operating at the Caserío Elizalde, located in the beautiful setting of the Mendraka neighbourhood and standing on the legendary Necropolis of Argiñeta. The winery has 4 hectares of its own vineyards and 1.5 hectares of associated vineyards. The vineyard plots are in the neighbourhoods of Mendraka, Gazeta and Miota in the municipality of Elorrio (Bizkaia), on slopes facing the Anboto and Udalaitz mountains, at an altitude of between 245 and 300 metres above sea level.
