About the winery
La Suertita is a family winery in Los Realejos, in the north of Tenerife, within the D.O. Valle de La Orotava. The project began in 2001 with small harvests that grew over the years, and in 2006 the winery joined the designation of origin. Its production focuses almost entirely on white wines: the main one is La Suertita dry white, made from Listán Blanco, which is also the wine produced in the largest quantity. The winery has also made a Listán Blanco white aged in American oak barrels, unusual on the island, as well as single-varietal Vijariego and Albillo wines, a fruity white and a red. Its dry white appears in the tastings published by Jancis Robinson.
