Bodega Viña Caeira

◍ Pontevedra

About the winery

Viña Caeira is the winery Carlos Moro founded in 2022 in Salvaterra de Miño, within the Condado do Tea subzone of the D.O. Rías Baixas. It is surrounded by just over two hectares of pergola-trained Albariño, supported on hundreds of granite pillars, on soils of gravel and quartz stones. Its name refers to a sloping plot covered with river stones left by the Tea beside the vineyard. The aim is to make only Albariño, unblended and without artifice, that shows the character of the Condado. CM Albariño is also made here, one of the estate wines selected by Carlos Moro, from Finca Pesqueiras, between the Miño and Tea rivers.
