About the winery
Zarate is a family-owned vineyard property on an old 15th-century pazo (manor house). It is located in Meaño, in the Salnés Valley, within the D.O. Rías Baixas, in the heart of Galicia. The Zárate family has spent 7 generations caring for and protecting its own vineyards, many of them over a hundred years old. That is more than 400 years of history and tradition bound to a land that expresses itself through its wines.
