Bodegas Altos de Torona

◍ Pontevedra

About the winery

Altos de Torona is a winery in O Rosal, in the south of the D.O. Rías Baixas, with a vineyard of around 94 hectares that it describes as the largest single-block vineyard in Galicia. The vines face south, between the influence of the Atlantic and that of the river Miño, and the house only uses grapes from its own estate, which it manages sustainably and calls the land of the 18 butterflies. Its wines carry the V-Label vegan seal. The range is broad: Altos de Torona Rosal, blending Albariño, Loureira and Caíño; single-varietal Albariño, Godello, Caíño and Loureira; a barrel-aged Albariño, Brut and Brut Nature sparkling wines, an organic Loureira and the Maremel and Albanta brands. It also produces olive oil.
