About the winery
The history of what is today Bodegas Álvaro Domecq S.L. goes back to 1850, the year Bodegas Pilar Aranda was founded, which over time established itself as one of the highest-quality producers in the Jerez area. Pilar Aranda was the first woman winery owner in the Jerez area and the first to be chosen Honorary Foreman of the Harvest Festival. Today it is a benchmark in the world of Sherry.
