Bodegas Bal Minuta is a mountain wine project in Barbenuta, near Biescas, in the Huesca Pyrenees. It is driven by winemakers Pilar Gracia and Ernest Guasch, who met while studying oenology in Tarragona and, after spells in Bordeaux, Chile and Priorat, began planting in Barbenuta, the family village, in 2012. Their Barbenuta vineyard lies above 1,300 metres and grows Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc; they also farm century-old Garnacha in Embún, in the Hecho valley. Their wines include the Nieves white and red, Pájara, Viña Balén, Manelmía, Nieu, Punta Erata and Punta Güé. Since 2021 they have had a new winery among the vines, where they offer guided visits with a tasting.
