Bodegas Covilor
About the winery
Bodegas Covilor was established in 1955 under the name Cooperativa Agrícola Virgen de Loreto, in response to the need for a larger winery to process the ever-increasing quantity of grapes being harvested in the area and the ever-higher costs at private wineries. This cooperative brings together the vast majority of farmers in Las Cuevas (Utiel, province of Valencia). The building, which the founding members bought from a family in the hamlet, is still the winery's headquarters.
