About the winery
Bodegas Faustino González is a family business devoted to the artisanal production of wines of the Marco de Jerez, using the most traditional methods. It was founded in 1972 by D. Faustino González Aparicio, when he acquired soleras from 1789 from the Alcázar de Jerez and moved them to his wife Doña Carmen García-Mier's winery in La Cruz Vieja, where they continue to age today, more than 250 years after they began; it is one of the most venerable and distinguished relics of Jerez.
