About the winery
Jorge Ordóñez is the leading champion in the United States of the Albariño variety and the D.O. Rías Baixas, as he was the first person to introduce them there in 1991. He was told he would never sell more than a hundred cases of Albariño in New York and, thanks to his perseverance, he now owns a winery in the Salnés Valley, the most important subzone within the D.O. Rías Baixas.
