About the winery
Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja is a family business founded in 1968 by Mariano Peláez and currently run by his sons Jorge and Javier Peláez. Located on the right bank of the river Miño, in one of the subzones of the D.O. Rías Baixas, its almost 40 hectares of vines spread around the Pazo Torre la Moreira, an eighteenth-century historic building that rises among its vineyards as the emblem of the winery. Winemaking tradition is combined with innovation and development to achieve excellence in each of the company's products.
