About the winery
The story began with Fausto González, a man with a dream and a talent: bringing hopes together and assembling a group of people capable of stirring a whole region, Castilla-La Mancha. The Martúe vineyards are located in La Guardia (Toledo). Finca Campo Martuela began to be planted in 1990, while Finca El Casar followed ten years later. It was not until 2000 that the grapes finally reached the optimum quality to begin making a wine with the quality that still characterises them today, and so the wine was labelled under the “Martúe” brand.
