Bodega Miguel Domecq stands on the Torrecera estate, within the municipality of Jerez de la Frontera and next to the Guadalete valley, a large property where vineyards share the land with olive and almond trees, cereal crops and a lake. The winery was built in 2008 between an Almohad tower and the farmhouse. It was founded by Miguel Domecq, heir to a well-known Jerez wine family, after more than three decades at Pedro Domecq, to focus on Tierra de Cádiz red and white wines and on reviving Jerez sparkling wines. On albariza soils it makes ranges such as Entrechuelos, with its Chardonnay, Alhocén, Torre de Ceres, which includes a Tintilla de Rota, and the Talayón Brut sparkling wine. It offers guided visits for small groups, with tastings accompanied by local cheeses, cured meats and preserves.
