About the winery
This Cooperative was founded on 24 April 1927 under the name Sindicato Agrícola and had its headquarters in the heart of the old town of Utiel, on Calle Real. The cooperative had several headquarters, including the remarkable Bodega Redonda building, acquired from a family of winemakers. The Agricultural Cooperative later ceded it to become the headquarters of the Regulatory Council of the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin. It was in 1945 that construction began on the current facilities, covering approximately 17,000 m².
