About the winery
The history of Bodegas Williams & Humbert began almost 130 years ago. They took part in the creation of the Jerez-Xérès-Brandy Designation of Origin, and today the winery is recognised as one of the most prestigious producers in the world. It was founded in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a great connoisseur and admirer of Jerez products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations. Since then, part of the house's wines and brandies have been kept in oak butts of the highest quality (soleras).
