About the winery
In 1997 Florentino Arzuaga, owner and founder of Bodegas Arzuaga, arrived in Castilla-La Mancha drawn by the world of olive oil, and in particular by the Cornicabra olive variety, which reaches its greatest splendour in the Montes de Toledo area. After acquiring 150 hectares of land, the Arzuaga family began making olive oil. In search of new land for planting olive trees, Florentino Arzuaga found the «La Solana» estate, ideal for planting vineyards, in the town of Malagón, in the province of Ciudad Real.
