About the winery
Thirty years ago, the founder of Bouza de Carril, Don Luis Rodríguez Balsa, began planting the first Albariño vines on his land in the Salnés Valley. Over time he kept backing this grape variety, seeing the excellent quality wine that Albariño produced. Today we are a family winery making a different wine, still drawing on the tradition and experience that came before us while using the most modern technology to obtain the finest wines.
