Celler Cultura Minifundi

About the winery

Celler del Minifundi is a small project in Muro d'Alcoi, inland Alicante, that champions small-scale winemaking linked to the area's micro-vineyards and to the style of Joan Cascant. Its key vineyard is the Cavall de Foc micro-vineyard in Alcocer de Planes, by the river Serpis, which gives its name to one of its reds. It also makes Senia Negre, from Garnacha Tintorera, and Senia Blanc, from Malvasía, as well as a vermouth, Vermut Ferrer, in red and white versions, based on Malvasía and Macabeo with herbs chosen by Cascant himself. It runs the Ruta del Celler del Minifundi, a morning that starts at the micro-vineyard with a presentation of the project and ends with a tasting of its wines and a light snack.
