About the winery
Cosecheros Reunidos de Soutomaior is a winery in Soutomaior, in the Rías Baixas D.O., born in 1992 from the union of local growers who wanted to bottle the Albariño from their own vineyards. Today it is going through a generational handover with the arrival of new members. Its vineyards lie in the valley of the river Verdugo, where the mountains meet the Vigo estuary, on dry, sunny slopes with low yields aimed at concentration and freshness. Its wines pay tribute to María Vinyals, a writer and activist born in Soutomaior castle, and come in two labels: the María Vinyals Albariño and Lugar de Vela, from specific vineyards and in numbered bottles.
