About the winery

The winery was founded in 1948 by the father of Antonio Aparicio, better known in the village of Sotoserrano by the nickname “Azufre” (sulphur), a nickname that arose from the meticulous care he gave his vines with that product. He pampered his wines as he looked after his friends, and little by little he expanded the winery until it passed to his heir, also named Antonio Aparicio, who continued the tradition of his father and teacher in the world of wine.
