About the winery
The EDRA vineyard is located in the town of Ayerbe, in the Pre-Pyrenees of Huesca, Spain, within the Ribera del Gállego protected geographical indication. On a free-draining clay-limestone soil, Edra revives a dormant tradition, where densely planted vines of the Syrah, Merlot, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Viognier and Parraleta varieties, among others, produce between 1.5 and 2 kg per vine. The vineyard soil is covered with a plant layer that retains moisture, generates organic matter and competes with the vines.
