About the winery
In the second half of the 19th century the Hidalgo family began its winemaking activity, starting from soleras of wine and vineyards it owned. By the beginning of the 20th century Emilio Hidalgo e Hidalgo already had a well-established business, with a branch in London and a presence in numerous countries. From 1970, by then a public limited company, it developed a very important export activity in the markets of England, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, as well as the USA, Japan, Denmark, Italy, France and Belgium.
