About the winery
Adega Cibeira is a colleiteiro (grower) winery located in As Regadas, in the parish of Beade, within the D.O. Ribeiro and in the Avia valley area. It makes its wines from grapes grown on its own plots, which differ in soil, altitude and aspect. Its label is Outeiro da Barra: the white blends Treixadura, Godello, Albariño and Torrontés, hand-harvested into small crates, while the red is made from Caíño Longo, Ferrol and Sousón. The winery works with free-run juice, the must that flows from the grapes under their own weight before pressing. The range is completed by the red Outeiro da Barra As Regadas, whose 2024 vintage was named best colleiteiro red at the 14th D.O. Ribeiro Gala.
