About the winery
Finca El Refugio is a family winery in Socuéllamos, on the La Mancha plain in Ciudad Real, that handles the whole process from vineyard to bottle. Its organically farmed vines, growing on shallow clay and limestone soils, yield a limited crop of red and white grapes. The team blends traditional methods with modern technology and has introduced varieties that are new to the area. The range includes Syrah, Tempranillo and Petit Verdot with different periods in barrel, a Cabernet and Merlot blend, Verdejo Le Blanc, a Syrah rosé and the Quorum Private Collection line. The winery offers wine tourism and a members' club with options such as Club Barricas and Club Vinos.
