Finca Loranque is in Bargas, very close to Toledo, on a site with traces of Roman times, and its wines fall under the I.G.P. Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla. The winery was built in the 18th century by the Counts of Floridablanca, who kept it running until the late 20th century, and in 1981 it passed to the Díaz Bermejo family, who revived the estate's winemaking tradition. They work each plot with the aim of making estate wines, combining the historic building with modern technology and oak ageing. Their range focuses on varietal reds and blends: Loranque Tempranillo, Cencibel, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah-Tempranillo and El Grande Syrah. They are strongly committed to wine tourism, with experiences on the estate designed to enjoy wine in a fun way.
