Leive Ecoadega
About the winery
Leive is a family winery in Ribeiro that has been making and selling wine without interruption for generations. It is in Esposende, in the municipality of Cenlle, within the Ribeiro de Avia subzone of the D.O. Ribeiro. It does not buy grapes: it works only its own vineyards, around three hectares, farmed with respect for the environment and in the process of organic certification, and the house places great importance on the culture and traditions of the area. Its range includes Leive Treixadura, Leive Reliquia, Preto de Leive, Bico de Leive and Lenzo de Leive. The winery, where old and new sit side by side, can be visited to learn in a hands-on and enjoyable way about the work done there.
