Pazo de Rubianes

◍ Pontevedra

About the winery

Pazo de Rubianes is a historic manor estate in Rubiáns, in Vilagarcía de Arousa, in the heart of the Val do Salnés and within the D.O. Rías Baixas. Since its foundation in 1411 it passed from generation to generation within the same family, first the Caamaño and later the Ozores, until in 2025 it joined the Arzuaga family. The vineyard was started in the 1990s by Gonzalo Ozores, who planted the first hectares and recovered old vines, and today the vines grow among camellias beside a historic garden. They make single-estate Albariños such as Pazo de Rubianes, 1411, García de Caamaño and Paloma. The guided visit takes in the manor, the gardens and the vineyards, and ends with a tasting of their wines.
