About the winery
Year founded: 1992. An old 1800 pazo surrounded by vineyards. The Pazo de Lalón is on the southern slope of Gomariz and covers 8 hectares. It once belonged to the Ulloa family, and its walls still bear the coat of arms, the mark of its noble owners. It was acquired in 1980 by José González Álvarez who, with advice from the Estación de Viticultura e Enoloxía de Galicia, restored native varieties, mainly Treixadura, to its ancestral vineyards.
