About the winery
The history of the Primitivo Collantes S.A. winery dates back to the 19th century, with the arrival of the brothers Primitivo and Tomás Collantes in Chiclana de la Frontera from the Iguña Valley in Santander. A few years later they acquired a cellar building at Calle Ancha 51 in this town, which is now its registered office. This winery is popularly known as “Bodega El Gallo”.
