About the winery
Adegas Xangall is a small family winery in Arbo, in the Condado do Tea subzone of the D.O. Rías Baixas. It is run by Begoña Troncoso, who, after marrying into a grape-growing family from Arbo, decided to carry on the tradition in her own way, together with her husband and daughter. They farm around two hectares of vineyard organically, without synthetic chemicals, using herbal preparations they grow themselves and following biodynamic practices. The winery's name means careful or loving in Galician. They make Xangall, a fresh Albariño with notes of stone fruit and aromatic herbs, and Lar dos Soños, their most personal project, a biodynamic Albariño.
