About the winery
Founded in 1970, the Algueña Cooperative Winery brings together more than 400 members and a total of 2,300 hectares of vineyards. Average production is approximately 5 million kilos of grapes. The Algueña Cooperative Winery ranks among the large wineries of the Alicante D.O. For centuries, our winegrowers have made the most of the exceptional conditions of our climate so that, from low yields per vine and slow ripening, we obtain intense wines of great complexity.
