Classic Penedès is the traditional-method sparkling wine category of the D.O. Penedès. Its producers work only with organically grown grapes from the appellation itself, with a minimum of 15 months of bottle ageing and the vintage always shown on the label.
These sparkling wines are made to express the Penedès landscape, from native varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, between Vilafranca, Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and the Garraf.
