Abadía Retuerta lies in Sardón de Duero (Valladolid), on the banks of the Duero, next to a 12th-century monastery whose monks were already growing vines and making wine on this land. The winery works only with grapes from its own vineyards, and since 2022 its wines have had their own appellation, the D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta. The main varieties are Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. The range includes the single-plot Pago Negralada, Pago Valdebellón and Pago Garduña, as well as Selección Especial, Cuvée Palomar and LeDomaine Blanco, and a limited-production Winemaker's Collection with Gewürztraminer, Malbec, Pinot Noir and Touriga Nacional. It offers winery visits and tastings, and in summer opens the Calicata Terroir Bar.
