About the winery
Quinta da Peza was born from a family inheritance: a three-generation family tradition in the wine trade and the A Peza vineyard in Fontei, an emblematic estate in the area belonging to the Casa Grande (the local pazo). Traditionally planted with Garnacha and Palomino, considered the bulk-wine varieties par excellence in the area. In 2004 an ambitious project began to reconfigure the vineyard, adapting its almost 8 hectares to modern growing techniques and to the varieties of the area (Godello and Mencía).
