About the winery
Adegas Amedo is a company founded in 1997 by a group of relatives and friends with a long tradition and connection to the world of wine, having been born and raised in a winegrowing environment. The winery takes its name from the place nearest to its facilities, specifically “Pousadoiro de Amedo”, in the parish of San Fiz, in the municipality of Chantada. The Gaios family are responsible for this project, with three generations behind them making and selling their wines.
