Adegas Celme
About the winery
Adegas Celme was founded in 2016 in the parish of Astariz, in Castrelo de Miño, within the D.O. Ribeiro. Behind it are Dori and Jorge, two engineers who changed their lives to devote themselves to wine. Since 2019 they have farmed the vineyard organically, and their wines have carried the seal of the Galician Organic Farming Regulatory Council since the 2022 vintage. They use only native varieties, and their range runs from Celme Novo, a young, fresh early-release wine, to Celme Tostado, Celme da Pena Bicada, Celme do Vintecatro, Celme Espontáneo, Celme Garabito and Celme do Souto. They also make vermouth, Celmú white and red. At the winery they organise visits and wine tourism activities by prior booking.
