About the winery
Condado de Sequeiras is a winery founded in 2003 in Camporramiro, in the municipality of Chantada, right in the centre of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra. It is surrounded by century-old terraced vineyards on both banks of the river Miño, in the Esperón area, on the route that runs down from Belesar towards Os Peares, a landscape whose winemaking tradition dates back to Roman times. The winery farms nine hectares of terraces there and takes care over every step, from the vine through winemaking to the final presentation of the wine. Its range is short and very local: a 100% Mencía red, an oak-aged Mencía and a 100% Godello white.
