Alvisa

About the winery

In 1969 Adolfo Fernández saw clearly that Castilla-La Mancha was going to become the vineyard of Europe. Thanks to this shrewd vision of the future, he expanded his business and founded the current Alcoholes y Vinos, S.A. (Alvisa), becoming the first in the area to set up industrial-scale distillation. His aim was to produce large volumes of spirit and wine, so he had the current continuous distillation tower built, which is one of the icons of the distillery. He kept working hard to grow the quality and number of customers, becoming a well-known producer worldwide.
