The Ameztoi family has been making and producing txakoli since 1820. Old barrels, the smell of wood, the clink of bottles and laughter. That is what the old Ameztoi was like, and it used to draw huge crowds. In fact, the Ameztoi family has long been known by the nickname “Kirkilla” (cricket), a symbol of joy, happiness and pride.
