About the winery
Artomaña Txakolina, S.L. began its activity in 1988, when the “Association of Artisan Txakoli Producers of Álava – Arabako Txakolina” was founded with the aim of reviving the tradition of making this wine in our area. Set up as an agricultural company, its mission was to define production criteria aimed at unifying growing systems and establishing good-practice guidelines within what later became the current “Arabako Txakolina-Txakoli de Álava” Designation of Origin.
