About the winery
We began making our txakoli around 1834, when our great-grandfather Miguel Aizpurua started making txakoli in small quantities. As well as making txakoli, our great-grandfather made the hoops for barrels. In the old days barrels or casks were made of beech wood, and that is how he got the nickname Aialle, from his trade.
