Bodega Contador
About the winery
Bodega Contador (2008–present). The new winery was inaugurated on 21 June 2008, coinciding with the summer solstice. The building stands at the foot of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the centre of the area occupied by the estate's various vineyards. The winery's structure on three floors or terraces reproduces the original slopes of the land and at the same time makes it easier to handle the grapes and wine by gravity. The building's terraces are covered with plants that blend in with the native vegetation.
