About the winery
La Casa del Volcán is David Lana García-Verdugo's project in Los Canarios, in the municipality of Fuencaliente, in the south of La Palma and within the La Palma D.O. It combines a small winery with a restaurant and event space focused on the island's wines and produce. Its own wine is a dry white made from Bujariego, using grapes from the garden vines, with a dry, slightly bitter character. The list brings together more than twenty La Palma wines that can be enjoyed by the glass, at the table or bought to take away, alongside Canarian fusion cooking. They organise tastings with tapas, by prior booking, and wine tourism activities to discover the winery and the volcanic vineyards around it.
