About the winery
A winery in the heart of Laguardia with a long history. Seven metres underground, beneath a 17th-century palace in the very heart of the medieval town of Laguardia, lies Bodega El Fabulista. A special place where the renowned fabulist Félix María Samaniego once lived. Within the town walls, El Fabulista is one of the largest and most spectacular of all Laguardia's underground cellars, and one of the few where wine is still made in the traditional, artisan way, using the carbonic maceration method.
